Enabling Effective Cell Therapies

Unlocking the mass market for cell therapies through cost-effective and safe solutions

The Column of Expansion and Differentiation (CoED) platform uses the natural ability of immune cells to migrate across membranes to separate and functionalise them. This highly adaptable and scalable system manufactures cell therapies that can be programmed to home directly to tumours improving safety and potency whilst also reducing costs.

Simple, cost-effective, manufacture of targeted cell therapies

✓ Physiological process for cell separation

✓ Functional cell selection

✓ Compatible with standard culture systems and workflows

✓ Scalable for small-scale research to larger production runs

✓ Modifiable membranes for novel engineering biology

✓ Create cell therapies that directly migrate to tumours

✓ Create tissue specific Tc profiles

✓ Enhance genetic modification efficiency

✓ Select only activated and migratory cells

Right now, life-saving cell therapies reach only 5% of eligible cancer patients because current manufacturing is incredibly complex, costly, and inefficient.

CoED Biosciences is tackling this head-on. We're developing the patent-pending CoED platform, a 3-in-1 system that uniquely integrates cell separation, functionalisation, and expansion into one gentle, efficient, and cost-effective workflow. Unlike current methods that are often harmful and wasteful, our technology uses active cell migration to produce purer, more viable, and more potent immune cells, even imprinting them with organ-specific targeting. This means 50% less hands-on time and 33% less waste.

On a mission to deliver cell therapies to the patients that need them

Adaptability is a key aspect of the CoED Technology, if you have a cell therapy that needs to target a specific tumour or tissue and your precursor cells have a migratory phenotype during differentiation then we can help you design a CoED system to manufacture your targeted cell therapy.

We are starting with CAR-T cell therapies but are interested in developing partners who are working on tumour infiltrating lymphocytes, NK cells and ipSC derived immune cells.
