Separate, Functionalise, Expand
The CoED makes healthy, functionalised immune cells from blood and tumour biopsies in a single unit without magnets or centrifugation which saves scientists time and resources. Our newest products are here
CoED Biosciences is rethinking traditional human tissue separation methods. Conventional separation often relies on specialised high-tech equipment that can be both costly and harsh on sensitive cells.
In response to this problem, CoED Biosciences has developed a simplified process that harnesses the forces of chemotaxis and gravity to gently separate human tissues. By employing these natural phenomena, the Column of Expansion and Differentiation Cell Factory (CoED-CF), ensures integrity and viability of all fractions of the separated cells. This simple, yet ground breaking technique makes cell separation more accessible to a broader range of research and medical facilities.
The gentle nature of the process preserves the functionality of positively and negatively selected cells and allows the development of niches for each cell type which is critical for applications such as isolation of immune cells from tumour biopsies and blood products.
The CoED-CF represents a major advancement in cell separation.
